Rajya Sabha: A house for political Asylum

Indian is one of the largest democratic country in the world. People choose their representative in a electoral voting process that costs valuable time and thousands of crores of government money. The people of India elect their representative to the Lok sabha and the literate lot of India are given one more option to send representatives to Rajya sabha from various fields to share their views in framing the policies and schemes for the development of India.

In an absolute Contrast to this the recent public mandate given in favour of BJP was of no use as many bills tipped as development drives was stalled by the representatives who were actually rejected in public mandate but were able to present in the lower house the Rajya Sabha. The people who sit in Rajya Sabha are either the corporates companies leaders who actually do not have time to think anything on public interest, sport and entertainment professionals who strive to make more money in their career but do not have time to spend for public and the third category are the most dangerous lot the political leaders who failed to gain confidence of public but were nominated by their parties to block everything that is done by ruling fraternity.

Congress and other local political parties who were confined to few in Lok Sabha but having enough presence in Rajya Sabha are bringing all worthy and unworthy issues to parliament and making sure that the current government do not rollout any development policies that strengthen BJP goodwill.

It is now almost two years more than 70 important bills of public importance were pending for Rajya Sabha node. Opposition parties always had a plan to disrupt parliament with issues timely tagged before Parliament sessions like the Intolarance issue before Bihar elections, the lalit modi passport issue connected to external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj, the Cow slaughter issue irking the minority, the Dadri issue trying to corner the Hindutav tagged BJP, the Rohit vemula dalit discrimination issue and the fresh confrontation at JNU Delhi. We cannot imagine this type of worst political game played with public money. The BJP  government is not showing any strength to contain this issues nor has any strategies to silent opposition making the parliament a place to bark on each other and close the sessions claiming that they were more loud in parliament than their rivals.

On paper India is depicted as a stand alone country that is in the phase of prosperity but it is not. Not even a single section of the society is feeling secure or felt that the government is striving to uplift the limping livelihood.

To my belief the Rajya sabha is doing more harm that supporting the Lok Sabha where the leaders come with public node. Rajya Sabha is clearly becoming a place for showing loyalty to people who supported the parties and asylum to political leaders who were rejected.

How many of you will took time to read this article support my intention to re wamp Rajya Sabha???

How many of you agree if i say that Raj sabha should not have the power to block the bills passed in Lok Sabha???

Onions prices brings tears to farmers in India

Onions made everyone to shed tears for the lack of sufficient stocks due to low production. There is a saying that whenever there is a hike in onion prices the existing government were in trouble. The 2014 elections campaign also marked onion prices issue in different parties’ agenda. Essential  Commodity price like Onions and pulses prices are playing a major part in maintaining consumer confidence on government. Government price support to farmers also has a major role to ensure farmers stick to producing onions and pulses in India as per the current and future demand.

Comparing two different news posts published in last year 29th October 2015 in economic times (Source: http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/economy/agriculture/onion-prices-start-rising-again-on-tight-supply/articleshow/49581152.cms) and news post on 31 Jan 2016 in Indian Express (Source: http://indianexpress.com/article/india/india-news-india/onion-prices-hit-rock-bottom-across-maharashtra/) clearly shows the adamant nature of our Governments and agricultural market federations to contain the issue.

Last year the consumers were hit hard due to lack of stocks and high prices that touched Rs.100, This year the farmers were made scape goats out last year shortage. There was a stage where state governments in Andhra and Telangana supplied onions through Government outlets at subsidized prices to satisfy their vote bank. Farmers across Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka sowed onion crop in lacs of hectares in a hope that the corp will have good demand after a lean season in mid 2015.

Now the same farmers were allowing their cattle to feed on the crop in the fields as they is no price for onions from the market mediators and no minimum price support from government. It is shocking to understand why government is unable to learn lessons from previous years.

CAN ANY ONE KNOW WHAT KIND OF SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENT SET UP IS ESTABLISHED TO CONTAIN DEMAND VS PRODUCTION OF ONION even after years of struggle to uphold onion prices??

How can the farmer trust Government next time when government appeals to cultivate any corp that is in shortage??

Who are to be blamed for this confusion??

Why the central and state governments are unable to buy the abundant stock, stack and store them for tough time and regulate the market???

Does the Indian agri market have the potential to store the abundant stock???

A few recommendations from a common man like me….
·
Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India should create a apex body similar to Cotton Corporation of India to contain Onion supply and demand.

·         Arrange storage facilities at key onion producing clusters in various states to stock onions for peak demand seasons and fight low yield seasons.

·         Central Government should announce state wise minimum support price to support farmer and encourage him to cultivate onion corp season by season.

·         Central Government should create an online platform to track the onion production and pricing at various production clusters to ensure a transparent affair for consumers and farmers.

World War III Destruction planned on religion

The modern world will be irked with the word World War but this could be a reality soon. The unrest at key pockets of the world in Africa, the gulf, India, France, Pakistan depicts a bizarre truth to accept that Religion is one delicate issue that was been tactically used by many anti-social elements around the world for their benefits. Even in this modern era the aggressively jingoistic religious groups are trying to control the religious thoughts of their people and exerting their ideas in a notorious fashion thus creating hindrance to the development of human race.

Humans are now no more identified as a HUMAN anymore. Humans are now having acronyms as per the country of origin i.e an American, an Italian, Indians etc, as per their religious faith Hindus, Christians, Muslims  and sub-categories like Shias and Sunnis in Muslims in that particular religion,as per the  race they born,as per the  Trade unions, as per the Humanitarian Associations & Organizations.

The Human classification is more complex to analyze in India with population divided by religion, Location (Harijan and Girijan), divided by Linguistic preferences, Caste & Community, Trade communities, Trade & Work unions etc. This uniqueness is great to hear and hard to align. Considering 125 crore odd population it is a daunting to unite all the sects and communities together. Keeping this confusion aside the political fraternity is the one syndicate that took this diversity in their advantage to divide and rule for their dirty political benefits.

Whenever you have an electoral schedule announced you will find some buzz on these delicate issues that aggravate the ground situation. The beef row was an arrow to pierce the thin line between Hindus and Muslims went awry with political parties targeting BJP that has its roots linked to RSS and Hindutva sections, the Rohit vemula issue which was actually a dalit discrimination case was elevated as a politician harassment on dalits  and the so called political saviors from different political parties present  there to corner government, the no entry of women to temples and mosques was now the discussion buzzing around to irk both Hindus and Muslims. Instead of respecting the temple specific religious beliefs it is now a fashion to question particularly Hindu beliefs and customs since unifying Hindus with so many communities and sects is an extreme challenge. The sanctions on women among Muslims are very hard to crack as women in that faith has little scope to open up against this.

Rather that handling these issues carefully things were blown to perceive them as national cause and to create unrest. The motto of reservation in education and jobs for various unprivileged and un represented sections was also deviated, recent mob outrage for one particular cast reservation in Andhra near tuni was a classic example on how a political motto can rattle crores of government money. The actual people who were supposed to get the support were not receiving the same and the people who are close the political or influential lot are enjoying the benefits.

Can India change to reservations as per the economic status of the person?? This is next to impossible to imagine as anyone trying to touch the reservations clause will be a self suicidal act to commit. Many us of know on what happened to RSS statement to relook on reservations had made BJP loose Bihar elections.

Politics, Global Corporate lobby and Religious outfits with extreme self-centric ideas will hold the key to peaceful human development. The more the involvement of these sections the more quickly we are inching towards a global outage leading a deadly war eradicating human race.
