CAN A DAILY WAGE LABOURER SURVIVE AFTER 2030

Information technology had changed the way we work, the way we communicate, the way we live and the way we plan our future. Everything thing that we plan is around the technology that exists and the technology that is coming in near future. Future is always weighed on the type of techno advancements we make like the Intel’s 5th generation 6th generation and now 7th generation. The supremacy of the artificial intelligence in our daily life had changed the human interference in the techno advancement as one human invent, group of humans execute and the world follows.

How many of you will agree with me if I say that we cannot imagine our lives without Microsoft for its operating systems*, Google** for its internet applications, SAP Labs for its worldwide enterprise applications, Intel, Dell and Lenovo for IT hardware, GE, Seimens, ABB for industrial automation. The companies I mentioned are the real influencers on our lives. The ultimate human survival is now formulated around these companies’ developments and their upgradations. Majority of the world’s literate population is generating billions for the above mentioned U S companies making United Sates more powerful to rule in terms of their military might and for their supremely dominating business empires.

While we try to increase the agro production by inventing high yielding crop varieties, introduce BT variants, other side we are developing automation systems that decrease human labour in turn reducing their earning potential. How does this sector will survive if everything is automated???
Technology can never be left un appreciated but when the same techno advancement dents the very survival of human race then it is clearly a global epidemic. We talk about environmental sustainability but we never had a serious retrospection on the human sustainability. The more the tech driven environment the more challenging is the livelihood for a common man who is semi-literate who depends more on physical labour who earns his daily bread on his physical hardship.

Machines mesmerized humans now the same machines will minimize human labour in labour intensive sectors like construction and manufacturing sectors. The vast industrial and construction labour pool around the world will literally loose their jobs with automation. Industrial automation may be a better option in west where human resources density is less and industrial growth is more but if the same system comes to highly populated countries like India we will have an emergency where crores of people will literally take on roads for food and work. These labour with their minimum literacy rate and mediocore living standards will be wiped out if they are not provided work. My intention is to avert our system to introspect on this issue and save the world most intelligent animal.
